Friday’s Gig…10 awesome reasons to attend

1. The first 50 people thru the door will get an exclusive 28 Days CD promo single. [these are some of the promo-disks going to the press, the single otherwise will be released through iTunes and other digital stores]

2. The running order is awesome:

7:30 DJ Orac
8:30 Looptron (Live)
9:00 Dj Orac
9:15 Miss Davina Lee (Live)
9:45 DJ Adamis
10:00 Cassette Electrik (Live)
10:45 DJ Adamis

3. We will be premiering the video for 28 Days, as created by the geniuses known only as BraceBraceBrace (they are also known as Gavin & Jason, to be honest) It is brilliant and worth the price of entry alone.

4. The venue is Industry, and it’s a really good one: a smart ground level bar and nice intimate downstairs gig venue

5. Entry is only £5 by purchasing an advance ticket or sending your name to info@cassette-electrik.net

6. DJ Orac is a champion of new electro on league-online.com and is putting his money where his mouth by putting out a compilation album featuring the best in new electro (including us, Client and Marsheaux)

7. DJ Adamis is co-founder of brand new electro night Electroqueer, which is also the brainchild electroqueer.com – another great website championing new bands, this time on a more pop tip. We’re playing at the 2nd ever EQ night the week after next on the 4th September.

8. Looptron. What can we say about Looptron that hasn’t already been said? From a startling compact set up on stage, he gives great disco. Joined this Friday by singer Sarah, prepare yourselves for some wicked tunes.

9. Miss Davina Lee. Recommended to us by our co-promoters of the night, PlumMusic, MDL are what Kate Nash would be like if she’d had the sense to be into Kraftwerk instead of Madness. We are bursting with excitement to see their live show.

10. It’s Friday night. Let’s party!
